Device: Forever Young
BroadBand Light (BBL)

During the photofacial treatment, we use the BBL handpiece in intermittent pulses to deliver energy to areas needing to be corrected. Forever Young BBL is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading devices for skin rejuvenation. It’s extremely fast and precise, and it’s suitable for all skin types and colors. As little as 3 to 4 passes of the device can correct most signs of aging on all levels of the skin.

How it Works

Whether you’ve got fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, sagging skin, visible veins, or unwanted hair, Forever Young BBL can help. This innovative light therapy from Sciton® Inc. targets sun-damaged skin and other signs of aging by eliminating them so your skin can look its smoothest, clearest, and youngest. Our team of specialists provides the safest and most comfortable photofacial in Dayton, Ohio, and Dayton metro.

IPL Photofacial is a non-invasive procedure wherein intense pulsed light (IPL) energy is channeled into the skin via the Forever Young BBL device. Each wavelength of light is suitable for different skin concerns. Your cosmetic provider will adjust the light to penetrate and destroy the damaged blood vessels, age spots, or pigment-producing cells. Your body will metabolize and expel the unwanted lesions, making your skin look soft, smooth, and youthful.

The Treatment Overview

We realize not every woman has the same type of skin; plus, skin changes as you age. We start with a face-to-face conversation and evaluation of your skin with the goal of bringing life and energy back to your skin. Each treatment plan is individually curated to address your specific concerns, ensuring safe, natural, and long-lasting results.

Your cosmetic provider will cleanse your facial skin and adjust the BBL device according to your skin concerns during the procedure. Anesthesia isn’t necessary, but you might receive a topical numbing gel. The cosmetic provider will move the BBL device over the treatment areas twice or thrice, following which a soothing gel will be massed into your skin.

Recovery & Aftercare

IPL photofacial involves minimal side effects. You may experience mild redness, swelling, and tenderness on your facial skin for a few hours, but you can resume your daily activities immediately. However, you should avoid strenuous activities, saunas, and excessive sun exposure for a few days.

Results

We recommend three BBL treatments, each one month apart. After this series of treatments, you will see visibly improved skin with fewer wrinkles, elimination of sun damage, and tightening of sagging skin. The result is amazing, healthy skin!
